About us

We sit on your side of the table

Advalign Health is a health and benefits advocacy organization. We help people understand and use the coverage, benefits, and support they already have.

Why we exist

Most people don't struggle with healthcare because they aren't trying. They struggle because the system is built out of separate pieces that were never designed to explain themselves: a plan here, a benefit there, a provider network, a review deadline, a letter written by a lawyer.

Advalign was built to be the one place where those pieces get put together. Not to sell you a different plan, and not to hand you a phone number and wish you luck, but to sit with you until the picture makes sense.

Our advocates work with people navigating disability benefits, new diagnoses, Medicare decisions, and the question of whether returning to work is possible. The situations differ. The need is usually the same: a real person who knows how this works and has time for you.

What we stand for

How we work with you

  • We explain, we don't impress

If you needed a glossary to follow us, we did it wrong. Every explanation is one you could repeat to your family that evening.

  • The decision stays yours

We don't sell plans and we don't earn a commission on what you choose. Our only interest is that you understand the choice you're making.

  • One team, not a queue

You get a care team that knows your name, your plan, and where you left off. You will not start over with a stranger each time.

  • We stay after the crisis passes

Coverage changes, health changes, work changes. We check in on a schedule instead of waiting for something to go wrong.

How it works

Three steps to get started

None of them are complicated.

  1. We start with a conversation

Tell us what's going on in your own words. There's no form to fill out first and nothing you need to prepare.

  2. We map out what's available to you

Your advocate explains your coverage, your benefits, and your options side by side, so you can see the whole picture in one place.

  3. We stay in touch

Things change: your health, your plan, your work. Your care team checks in and picks up right where you left off.

I'd been putting off the paperwork for months because I didn't understand a word of it. My advocate went through it with me line by line and never once made me feel slow. That was the first time in two years I felt like someone was on my side.

What we are not

  • We are not an insurance company. We don't issue plans and we don't sell them.
  • We are not a government agency. Advalign Health is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Social Security Administration, or any government body.
  • We are not your legal representative. If your situation calls for an attorney, we will tell you plainly rather than take it on ourselves.
